Kim Minicozzi
Kim has dedicated her law career to the courtroom and focusing on litigation. She graduated from Mississippi College School of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and Pi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Before attending law school she graduated from the University of Georgia with a double major in Political Science and Sociology. Kim was raised in Snellville and graduated from Brookwood High School.
Kim began her legal career as an intern at the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office where her primary assignment was handling Juvenile Court matters. Once she graduated law school she worked for the Gwinnett County Solicitor’s Office where she prosecuted all misdemeanor and traffic offenses, specializing in DUI prosecutions. During her time at the Solicitor’s Office, Kim trained police officers in conducting standardized field sobriety evaluations and preparing for courtroom testimony. After two years, Kim then honed her trial skills while working in the Walton and Newton County District Attorney’s Offices. There she successfully tried and convicted individuals charged with serious violent felonies, including murder, armed robbery, rape, child molestation, aggravated assaults, vehicular homicide, drug trafficking, forgery, and theft offenses.
Kim has extensive litigation experience, appearing as lead counsel in over a thousand cases and participating in numerous jury trials.
After opening The Law Office of Kimberly M. Minicozzi, LLC in 2013, Kim has focused her practice on Adoption, Divorce and Custody matters, Criminal Defense, Personal Injury and Wills and Estates. Kim is an experience attorney with a history of obtaining positive results for her clients. Kim understands how complex civil and dometsitc litigation can be and she strives to give every client the outcome they are seeking.
Kim is a member of the United States Supreme Court, the State Bar of Georgia, The Georgia Supreme Court, The Georgia Court of Appeals, the Gwinnett County Bar Association, the Walton County Bar Association, and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Kim and her family reside in Loganville, Georgia.
